Smart cobot solutions for repetitive tasks

Your people on what matters. Cobots on what repeats.

CoboMind helps you automate repetitive tasks with robotics, 3D vision and AI. We guide you from your first process question to a working solution. From our accelerator we select the right components for your task, and we first test them with your products in our lab. These first tests require no investment from you, so you can decide on a full solution with confidence.

Test feasibility first. Then invest on solid ground.

What is a cobot?

A cobot is a robot designed to work alongside people.

Cobot is short for collaborative robot. A traditional industrial robot usually works behind fencing. A cobot is built to share a workspace with the people around it, so in many applications it can work in an open setup, without a cage.

01

Designed to work next to people

Cobots are built for collaboration, with safety functions that make working in the same space possible. That is why people and cobots can share tasks in one workplace.

02

Safety is about the whole application

The robot is only part of it. The gripper, the product, the speed and the layout of the workplace decide whether an open setup is safe. We look at the complete application, and where an open setup is not responsibly achievable, safeguarding is added.

03

What CoboMind adds

CoboMind makes cobots intelligent. We combine cobots with 3D vision and AI, and select the right components from our accelerator, so a cobot can handle variation in products and positions.

The business challenge

Your people have more to do than repeat the same task.

Handing over parts, positioning products or loading a machine again and again: small tasks can take up a large part of the working day. Automation can create room for work that calls for attention and craftsmanship. But which task is suitable, what does it deliver, and how much change does it demand from your process?

CoboMind helps you answer those questions and take the step to execution.

01

More done without extra hands

We investigate where a cobot can reduce waiting time or manual work.

02

Better use of your people

Repetitive tasks are taken over, so employees can carry out other work.

03

Consistent execution

We develop a process with measurable, repeatable performance.

The actual value depends on your process. We do not promise fixed savings percentages.

What we do

From your process question to a working cobot solution.

You do not need to become a specialist in robots, cameras or AI. CoboMind translates your question into a suitable solution, selects the right components from our accelerator, investigates feasibility, and guides integration and commissioning.

  1. Understand your process
  2. Select the right components from our accelerator
  3. Test it in practice
  4. Implement and follow up

One point of contact for the whole track. Where additional expertise is needed, for example for mechanics or the assessment of the complete workplace, we agree on responsibilities up front.

  • Continuity when staff is hard to find
  • Tested with your products first
  • Faster from question to execution
  • Guidance from choice to commissioning

Applications

Start with the task that moves your process forward.

Taking parts from a bin and presenting them

Less manual feeding work.

Orienting and positioning products

Fewer preparatory handlings for the next step.

Loading and unloading light machines

An employee can carry out other tasks between cycles.

Visual inspection and sorting

Products assessed consistently against agreed criteria.

Supporting assembly tasks

Repetitive sub-tasks shared between human and cobot.

Your task?

Tell us what happens in your process today, and we look at what could be possible.

These are application directions to investigate, not a claim that all applications have already been realised. Suitability depends on product, weight, geometry, desired speed and workplace.

The CoboMind accelerator

The CoboMind accelerator: start testing before you invest.

Our accelerator brings together the most relevant technology: software components, integrations and integration knowledge, built on technology from world players with NVIDIA as the technological foundation. For every application, we select the right components.

First tests cost you nothing. We test your own products on our accelerator setup in our lab, with no investment from you, for applications that fit our test capabilities.

Why it matters

Faster to a first answer

Uncertainty about technology and feasibility should not block a first exploration. With a prepared foundation we select the right components for your application instead of starting from scratch, so there is less preparation before anything can be tested and earlier insight into feasibility.

What it is

The right components, selected per application

The accelerator brings together the most relevant technology and deploys the newest relevant developments where they add value. For each application, we select the components that fit. Any cost of using the accelerator in a solution is set out in the proposal.

How we use it

On your products, in our lab

Your products are tested on our accelerator setup: a Gemini 3D camera and FAIRINO cobots, running on ROS 2 and NVIDIA technology, with the components we selected for your application. We agree the criteria before the test.

Our central offer

Test with your products first. Then decide on implementation.

You do not need to buy a complete robot installation to find out whether a task is feasible. Where your application fits our test capabilities, we use our accelerator setup in our lab to test the key technical questions up front with your own products.

Together we decide what the test must prove, which product variants we include and which performance we measure. You then get insight into what works, where the limitations are and what a next step requires.

Proposed offer: CoboMind Feasibility Track

  1. Scope of the task, assumptions and success criteria.
  2. A practical test with representative products and conditions within the agreed scope.
  3. A demonstration or video of the tested behaviour.
  4. Measurement results, limitations and exceptions.
  5. Proposal for next steps, with indicative costs and a business case where enough data is available.
  6. Go/no-go advice: continue, adjust or stop.

What we measure: successful handlings per number of attempts, cycle time and spread, product variants tested, operator interventions needed and recognisable failure situations.

If the test shows too little promise, you can stop without ordering the implementation phase. Lead time, any adjustments to the setup and any additional test material or hardware are agreed before the test. A test on our setup is not yet validation of your complete operating environment: lead time follows from the concrete scope, and final hardware, workplace layout and connections to your machines can remain project-specific. A test setup is not automatically a cell ready for daily use.

Tests critical tasks on an agreed setup.
    What you get
Insight into technical feasibility and limitations.
  3. Step 3

    Design

    What CoboMind does
Works out components, process connections, workplace and budget.
    What you get
A concrete implementation proposal and a business case with assumptions.
  4. Step 4

    Implement

    What CoboMind does
Integrates, tunes and tests on your site.
    What you get

A workable handover and a clear point of contact.

You decide separately on implementation and any follow-up phases. Form of support, availability and responsibilities are still to be agreed per project.

The right technology

The right approach for the task.

We choose the approach on value and feasibility. Approaches can be combined.

01

Programmed robotics

Predetermined movements and process rules for predictable tasks.

02

Perceiving and adaptive robotics

Vision, AI and motion planning handle variation in product or position. Force feedback can be added for suitable contact tasks.

03

Learning robotics

Training behaviour through demonstrations (imitation learning) or through experience and rewards (reinforcement learning).

Simulation supports development and training; it is not a separate, higher level of automation.

Working side by side

Designed around your people and your process.

We look for applications where a cobot takes over repetitive tasks and employees gain room for other work. We consider the complete workplace: product, gripper, movements and interaction with people. An open setup is the starting point wherever that is responsibly achievable for the complete application.

This is not a general promise that a cobot can always work without safeguarding.

Questions

The questions that hold back a first step.

Do I already need to know which robot I need?

No. Start with the task and the result you want to achieve. The technology choice follows from that question.

Do I have to buy hardware before a test?

No. For applications that fit our existing test capabilities, we investigate the core task on our accelerator setup, at no cost to you. Any additional components are agreed up front.

What if the test gives insufficient results?

Then you get insight into the limitations and possible alternatives. You then decide whether to adjust, investigate further or stop. Implementation is a separate decision.

Can this connect to our existing machines?

We investigate the available interfaces and process conditions during the track. The necessary connections are part of the design.

How do we determine whether it makes economic sense?

We combine test results with your volumes, cycle times and costs. We distinguish freed-up capacity from actually avoided costs, and we take maintenance, changeovers and operator interventions into account.

Do we need our own AI or robotics expertise?

No. CoboMind guides the technical choices and integration. Your process knowledge and representative products are needed to develop a relevant solution.
